506rwhp/423tq @108 degrees what up!

I just got the text from the tuners that the Z just hit 506/423tq on 91 octane at 108 degrees outside  I couldn't possibly be any happier. Hoping to pick the car up tomorrow afternoon. I want to thank mike and sam at GTM for getting the kit together n out so fast, Tony @ UMS for a stellar tune and my boys at Intense Power for getting the kit put together properly. I know I was a pain in the @$$ :icon18: Not sure if I'm going to be able to sleep tonite cuz tomorrow night will be like xmas

We use Garret GT2860RS turbos with a 0.86 A/R in our Stage 2 Twin Turbo Kits.

ANMVQ 08-16-2012 11:40 AM

Nice good luck staying off it. LOL Wait till a bike tries to cut you off at a light.. Happens to me all the time. :/

tturbo370z 08-16-2012 02:22 PM

Thanks guys! My goal was 500whp and this kit did just that. Now just gotta get all the bugs worked out as it thru a vvel code last night. I got to play with it a bit b4 it happened so I'm sure I will get it back tonite. The owner felt so bad he gave me his sc sc300 to use while they get it back to me today. Dropped his car off to me at 11pm even. All part of the fun of a newly modded car :p

Staples 08-16-2012 07:35 PM

Congrats on the numbers!

mardigras 08-16-2012 07:52 PM

Bone stock. Sadly after driving the car around for 20mins I'm already wanting to build the motor now lol it's the easiest to control 500whp I have ever driven. This should have been like an upgraded option from the factory cuz now the car actually goes as fast as it looks. My next mod needs to be a 2nd car for myself so I can mod my now DD more

DIGItonium 08-17-2012 12:14 PM

Are the numbers in the yellow box before FI or low boost?

I guessing that is low boost. I wasn't there for the tune as it had to go a few times. It sure as heck didn't have that much juice stock. The first time it was there he wasn't able to do much from a coolant leak. So the 2nd time it went back that yellow line was where he left off n tuned it from there.

TopgunZ 10-19-2012 02:32 PM

Why does your dyno say its a 350Z_G35???

Fabio88 10-19-2012 02:38 PM

Gratz man for joining the force induction group :) I like the numbers take some videos of your car doing some pulls.

LafitteZ 10-20-2012 10:36 AM

yooo man congats on the numbers and tune. I dont know how the dynapack reads numbers but you can turn that sucker up some more safely. i pulled 548 whp at 11.5 psi at 110 shop temps last year on dynojet at z1. your going to have a smile everytime you get in it. Iv been beating on mine over a year now at these power levels. just some food for thought before you build the motor. you have more left in it safely. Unless dynapack reads low numbers like dyno dyanamics.

That would be nice and hope it turns out that way. The car is actually in the process of being redone as the previous shop didn't do me any favors by installing it all crappy making the car undrivable. It now resides in the loving hands of GTM to be brought back to life in the next few weeks. Renting a Toyota yaris for the last few mos has been killing me :rofl2:

It was just the file the tuner had it under. He apparently didn't have any 370z maps previously

blackonorange 10-21-2012 03:55 AM

.... So car wasn't driveable ?

Very long story the short answer is yes at first then no. So many leaks etc the car overheats. It's 100% install related and the more the previous shop worked on it the worse my car got to the point it was undrivable. Good news is its all 100% fixable.

binary0x01 10-21-2012 06:00 PM

that's ****-ed up

elperuano 10-21-2012 08:13 PM

Glad it all got worked out!
