Oh yes! I almost forgot about the oil pan. Are you using a thermostatic oil cooler sandwich plate? I have the adapter, but don't know if it's thermostatic. I just notice it takes a lot longer for oil to warm up in the winter.

Also, how much oil does it take now? 6 qt?

I'm currently at 195-210F on a freeway cruise without the A/C running. Water temps are stable (7th tick), but it's nowhere near 105-111F ambient this week. This is with an aftermarket gauge and sensor though.

I do have a thermostaticly controlled sandwich plate, also with oil and filter change I use 9 quarts.
