Some what, So compression is great, Smoke test passed. Issuse it still there, there are some hard codes in the ECU tho , P1233, P1239 and P2133, They told me there where 7 codes in all, The others where all Throttle body related, They rewired the the TB cable and those codes went away these stayed?

EVOHUNTER 09-25-2012 01:27 PM

I had all those codes aswell, i rewired my throttlebodys.. and they all went away.
They also had to reflash my ecu for a coldstart issue - TSB
everything is fine now.

EVOHUNTER 09-25-2012 01:54 PM

Yes sir, limp mode, car wouldnt rev past 2500 and my abs and trac light came on.

ANMVQ 09-25-2012 02:21 PM

Exactly what mine is doing, minus the abs and trac light

The limp mode was just something else the dealer F'd up, and did not fix, Said there was NO codes at all, Sure!

are you getting the limp mode after driving/on a dyno? I had the same issue but it was because I was missing the plate that blocks the direct airflow to the air filters. The MAF's are so close to the filters that is causes them to read two different numbers causing the engine to go into that limp mode for me. I was able to dignose the problem using a high speed fan on a dyno and seeing the air fuel jump all over the place when not under load. it basically creates a ram air effect when you are driving pushing air to the engine when the engine is not under load (ie crusing) and makes the car believe something is wrong. I fixed the problem by making a air box out of a piece of aluminium from lowes to prevent direct air contact with the bottom filter.

I would try making something that blocks the air a little more efficently and erase the codes and see if it returns. I got so many different codes due to this problem but after doing this fix I have never had the problem since.

I would if I had the car, Honestly looking to ship it out of state now, Probaly going to have it shipped to the Shop in CT,
Really sux that no one here( Where I am can fix the car) I have no time to play with it, Working and having you own business on the side leaves 0 time for anything else, until its dark out side,, LOL

nope, Seems like no one can fix it, Maybe I should just get rid of the car,
The more and more I dig into this the more PO'd I get, If I ship it its gonna cost me $800 round trip, Plus what every its going to cost me to fix the issue.

Just a little info for you.

My friend who had STILLEN installed his kit when it first came out. He had issues too and turned out to be a faulty throttle body. Might want to look into that also since you are getting throttle body codes.

Good luck!

Thanx Weiboy, A lot , But I can not get anyone to friging look at. The place that has is now , Wont touch anything because the have no, Infiniti books( what I was told) I'm also pretty sure its the wiring or even if it is the TB I need someone to tell me that, My issue is getting someone to look at it. My options are now out of State(800-100$ shipping cost), Something I'm not happy with becasue from the jump I was PROMISED by the dealer who is full of it, They would warranty the car and the kit, If I tow it to another dealer they are going to charge my for the TB and all work they have to do. Something I'm not really happy about, I really just venting cause the peice of mind I thought I was buying when I bought this went out the window 3 months ago and I am starting to get . .. . . .. :stirthepot:
