i have the built tranney with the VB upgrade. the difference in the 4th to 5th gear change is 100 times better than the stock 7 AT. Stock time to shift is .680 of a second for this shift. I have not data loged it yet but i can tell you is way faster and crisper.
The harder you push it in MM the faster it shifts ( with authority) Can not wait till the drag strip open next year, the differnce in shift times will put me in to the 12.1's easy.
i normally shift between 7900 to 8100 rpm. I have done one data log run of the 7AT but will not post any shift times as i want to do another data log run to confirm my results. All im going to say is that the shift times were very quick. some as fast as .225 -.240 of a second vs .30 and .31 on my car.

Soooo how's the tranny working out for you??? I didn't see in all the trolling going on in this thread. I have 17k+ on a FI 7AT...stock and zero problems.

do u have stock tranny? Which FI and how much you pulling?

Great news GMT rebuilt auto and valve body is in feels great and i still haven't tuned the Auto yet. just bumped the boost to 12pounds so it feels at the limit with boost just need to play with the tune get a little more down low will keep everyone posted. A little advice for anyone with a Stillen s/c kit do not misplace your cable to tune your car they wanted to charge more $700 for a new one

Mike@GTM or Sam@GTM, is there a special flash you send with the VBU to reflash the TCM or do you just have the dealership reflash it with the OEM flash ?

Dealer has to reflash if the VB differs from what came in the car. And Mike no longer works for GTM.

there is an uprev flash that needs to be done when doing the valvebody upgrade, the dealer flash will only get a valvebody from another car to work in yours, it will not adjust the line pressure for the non oem modifications gtm does to the valvebody
