My other spare 3.7 got stolen from me up here in Canada.
Ok. Have you talked to Sam lately? I wouldn't be expecting anything from them in January.

for anyone interested, here is the driver side turbo bracket fabricated by RealAutoDynamics

This braces the turbo to the block, so the turbo is not just being supported by the manifold runner itself. The guy who made this knows his sh!t but we have no way of knowing 100% if this will prevent cracking long term, at the least it should prolong the life of the manifold. If this cracks again I'm switching to the shops custom manifolds (they have built their own TT kit which should be announced in 1-2 months).

^^^ That appears to be a good support. I'm in the same category with the hairline crack in the manifold. The thing is, I've yet to hear of it getting large enough to actually affect anything. No noise, no leaks, no worse. It's confined (in mine) to about a 3" area.

I am dead certain my manifold has glowed red several times in its lifetime. The expansion effect may play into this as much as support. This fix above will help.

I just sold my entire GTM kit within hours of listing it on MyG37 ($4k) I didn't hesitate to order a fresh manifold, though. No NEW buyer wants to have reservations, so I called, talked directly with Sam, and he cut me a deal, and shipped one out pronto. It's not free, yet my system didn't owe me a penny for what I've gotten out of it.

YMMV. I'm not a GTM hater, obviously.

I did have to pay for my manifold since it was outside of their 1 year warranty unfortunately, but I'm hopeful this will prevent the new one from cracking. Fortunately GTM has plenty of the old manifolds sitting around heh

Looking good nick!!! I think we will both be back up very soon... Also you need to ask the shop if they can open up those openings like I did on mine for more flow... They are undercut by 1/4"...

yep they took care of the manifolds and ported them to match the gasket. I still dont know if it will help given the small runners but it certainly cant hurt, we shall find out soon enough. I will definitely be re-tuning the car on e85 within the next 4-6 weeks.

For anyone curious, this is the support bracket RealAutoDynamics made for my driver side turbo. it's hard to see in the picture but its actually attached to 2 of the manifold studs and then to the front half of the turbo. Ideally this will prevent the cracking issue but it should at last prolong the life of the manifold.

Any chance of them making more of those? I'd buy a set to have on the shelf if my motor ever comes out.

And here is a shot of the new coolant source for the turbos. While there is a similar location on the passenger side turbo that could be used, both turbos are fed from this source as its the coldest source of coolant possible.
