Cool turbo placement. Pretty slick set-up guys, what kind of power did this car make?

Thanks,

PM box WAS FULL of people asking for single turbo estimate.

evoAXE 07-23-2012 11:31 AM

Wow, guess the 370 people are really desperate to get FI. No way I would drive with turbo routing like that.

Why? Because so far the Single turbo HR we did in Dec 2011 is still making 500 to the wheels and the G37 & the 2 370s are running amazing and they are DD. This year alone we did 13 Single turbo cars and have no issue. In high 1000's of DE's that run there piping the same but on the other side of the car are fine.

Here are some things to think about

Turbo is up high so no need for a pump to return the oil
Turbo runs a true V-band with equal lengh runners so no need to run two wastegates
Turbo is easy to install with out pulling the engine
Starts making boost almost instant
Turbo is serviceable with only two clamps holding it place so removal of turbo is about 30 mins
Both maf meters read the same IAT’s when in boost and when not in boost.

Bottom line is our kits have proven themselves across this country in the middle of summer. Made great power across the dyno graph.

The more stuff you add to a kit increases the chance of component failure

Wow, 3 kits with that routing, and no proof of track times.

So Nice.. Are you guys doing a a Self install Kit with Base Map?

regulator11 05-04-2013 09:41 AM

I will be having them install mine along with the custom dyno tune. I only live 2 hours south of them so it is easier for me to have them take care of it for me.

Nissan370 05-06-2013 05:11 PM

If I can't get this kit in the next 2 weeks i will have to back out and get a refund i am moving and wanted my install done at hills garage before I move

DLane7 12-01-2014 11:20 PM

I know this a old but I was wondering I got a 2014 370z. Wanting to put a little more power into it. I have emailed you but never got a respond. I would love to talk more about this single turbo setup.

Ill 12-01-2014 11:36 PM

S&R change their name to VSR Motorsports That's issue #1 on how you cannot contact them.

Might want to do some reading around, thy have had a few issues with their recent builds. No sure if they were isolated incidents or not, just giving you a heads up.

Nissan370 12-02-2014 05:25 AM

I have there kit with zero problems.

Ill 12-02-2014 08:25 AM

That's why I said a few, not all.

I recall a few motors took a **** after some installations. Of course they got a built motor for a highly discounted price.

conquistador 05-23-2015 10:08 PM

Did they change their name again to Vortex Motorsports??

KratikosG37 05-24-2015 07:14 AM

Talk about being a thread back from the dead.

Infidel 05-24-2015 09:35 AM
