I cant wait to have this done and just rub it all in your faces :)

I think its just that, a lot of people on here are concerned about bolt on body parts and lower costs mods, what you are doing is way out there and you havent shown a lot of pictures or given a lot of info.

If you have the motor you say you have and are putting on all these power adders then wow, You might have the most powerful 370z not only on this forum but on the planet.

Beat me to it... 45 MPG. 45K laying around. 4.5L engine build. Seems like 45 is a popular number in this thread.

I know that guy -- a buddy of mine from back when I had the Celica (the Lotus and Celica shared the 2ZZ). I picked up the manifold for my SC build for the Celica from him.

He basically followed the design for the twincharge set up from the old Lancia rally car. Nice water to air IC and a custom alcohol injection set up. I think he's putting down something in the high 400's to mid 500 to the tire. Can't recall, but it's easily in supercar territory in terms of power to weight.

Insanely powerful Lotus.

It's not that we are against cool builds... it's just that what you want to do and the stuff you are saying MAKE. NO. SENSE...

A rear mounted turbo? Why would you do such a thing. The turbo lag from that must be monstrous.... especially at 900hp...

Could it be? Will this be one of those "epic" threads?

McNeil370 07-11-2012 06:56 PM

this thread is allready epic:inoutroflpuke:

even tho i have my doubts about this project, but i would love to see it getting done. make sure you post dyno graphs of without SC and with SC at the same psi to prove the difference that the extra SC made, i don't think you will make more power at the end of the day, but there could be a bit of an improvement on the low to mid range.
