I cant take a pic a car is 45 mins away at the dealer, But Stillen told me it's just a open hole, I'm to call them again at 5pm( 15 mins) and will double check, If thats the case I'm going to see why they wont warrenty it, I did not wash the engine nor did I go swimming in the car ,, LOL

Here's a pic of my old kit. Tell me where this vent is at.



I hope you're not talking about those 2 brass fittings that's on top of the blower because those are suppose to stay there and tightly screwed in

Hey Webby thanx for the pic. The top left one has a hole in it to vent out fluid if the system gets to hot. Thing is its just that a hole nothing to plug it. its just open. an if you look the alen wrench hole water could puddle there BAD design.

Noooooo! That's suppose to be the filler hole and the other side is the dip stick. Somebody F'ed up leaving that off! Fluids are not suppose to come out also.

WEIBOY you sure Stillen even told me this. There now way it was from the service at the dealer. I was like a month before all of this happened.

I also did talk at length with them today about how this child happen kinda pushing for warranty as even vortech has never heard of This happening, like a one off? But if that's the case why not warranty it? We'll see what they say tomorrow.

Wait a min! Didn't you said there's a open hole on top of your blower? Use my pic as an example, was one of the brass allen fitting missing?

This is crazy water in the top of the blower from your hood.
The top of the blower should have two brass fittings like Weiboy showed.

If your going to pay for them to fix the blower I would just have them upgrade you to a T Trim or SI trim while there in there.

WOW thanx man, I know that he is right but there is A pin whole there to vent , Stillen told me this I also remember when looking at the SC before it went to the dealer I could see a small pin on inside one of the allen holes( pretty sure the left one). They told me the hole is there to vent pressure incase of a over fill or the fluid heats up and boils.. There is another thread( Mine) on G37.com and one guy over their confirmed the hole, As his kit was overfilled from Stillen. But to get to MR.Sqeeze's reply yea from the hood, Either rain or when I washed the car..

I just read the onwers manual from from to back and back to front and did not see anything about I vent hole, or / warning about water or washing the engine bay.. You know like becareful there is hole on the SC and you could contaminat the SC with water if not careful or coverd while washing???

If I have to rebuild it I will go with the impeller, Becasue I will be sending it to 928, Vortech is 3 weeks behind, I will not wait that long when 928 is 5 days.

Vortech is slow I had to deal with them Carl from 928 can do the same re-build with better bearings.
