The build has been in the works for a few weeks now. Its starting to build momentum now so I thought this is a good time to start the thread. I bought the Z 5 months ago and new right away it need more power so I bought some bolt ons and had the car tuned. I still felt the car needed more so I started for hunting around for f.i. options and decided on S&R Performance because that was what I had in mind before I even came across them.So far Bobby (the owner) has been great with me as I am probably much more involved in every step of this build than your average joe. He is always willing to awnswer any question I have any time. Even like today (The 4th of july) He called me to talk about a few things about the car. OK so on to the Z, its a 09 auto with sport pack and has 6800 miles on it.
Pics of the Z. And my buddies Alpha 9 ![]() ![]() ![]() Pics of the bolt ons I bought before the turbo. I sent the nitrous back (never used) ![]() ![]() Z1 25 row oil cooler motordyne E 370 and tanabe sways ![]() ![]() Aem intakes. For sale btw pm me for details less than 500 miles on them. ![]() first pic of the car at S&R performance ![]() And the build begins. The turbo of choice is the Percision Turbo 6266 CEA and Turbosmart Race Port bov and wastegate. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I will post more as the build goes on. ![]() Last edited by valpozguy; 07-07-2012 at 01:07 AM. |

Down pipe looks awesome... can't wait to see how the routing of the intercooler piping to the throttle body is going to work out.

Sorry for being a stickler, but is that the 350 exhaust? I am pretty sure the 350 Motordyne exhaust is called the "shockwave 2"? The 370 is known as the E370...
