Akuma : Gauging Interest..FI
We are on the verge of releasing a few items into the community, and I am very stoked to move on to Forced Induction.
We are looking for up to 3 cars.(2 to start) Minimal 2 MT ans 1 AT, we want to keep the kits as universal as possible. If you are thinking about pulling the trigger, give us a shout. It will be a great opportunity for everyone. Think power under the curve, with the ability to destroy at the track and on the street. That is where Akuma lives, and you are invited. Shoot me a line here or via email and we can see if we can get the ball rolling asap! Cheers! John john@akumamotorsports.com |
Would be helpful to say where you are located...

PM me details on what you have planned... I am located on Long Island with a 2012 6Spd, just under 2000 miles on the car, everything still stock. Willing to possibly lend my car as a donor vehicle.

John You have a email. :)

First off we are located in Woodbridge, NJ. So we are looking for someone in the NY,NJ and PA area that are able to leave a car with us for a while. We are looking at either a TT or a STS depending on fitment location and piping and overall clearance of parts. Our 2 priorities in mind are Drivability and Reliability as well as what is best for the 370z chassis. We are looking to use a TD05 housing, 68mm Billet Compressor with 68mm HTA extended blade wheel which will have a flow rate of 45lbs This will allow a great setup for instant spool and boost around 2000-2500rpm range for this car and the goals we have in mind. Basically it will respond like a factory turbo to keep that drivability but have a mean bite on the track. The numbers we are shooting for are about 100-150whp over stock. We want to have a kit that will function with stock engine reliably. Overall we want to make this setup so you can have fun driving to the track....Beat on it all day.... and then pick up your groceries on the way home to make it on time for dinner.....
-John will follow up with more information and we will both happily answer any other questions you have -Kevin@AkumaMS |
Nice. more options :tiphat:
|
PM me some time I might be interested.
|
This is exactly the kind of TT kit I would be interested in and have been waiting for. If I could ask for one thing...please retain the front crash bar. Thanks and look forward to the outcome!
|
I would be very interested in being a donor. Could you please pm me the time frame we're looking at.
Best regards, Tom |
As far as information on the build refer to post #10, the downtime would be around a month or 2 right now being we are busy with alot of projects already
|
We are anxious to move on this project. We now have a better idea of cost and time frame. We are also an UpRev Pro dealer, so tuning is also included.
If you are in the market, this is a killer opportunity guys! John |
What's the price I live on long island and would consider going a g37 coupe instead if a z
|
I'm working out on the west coast and can't drive my car for the next several months. So you could use it and take your time with it if needed. The only catch is that it's in NC so you'd have to ship it up to you. Let me know if you're interested and then we can talk numbers.
|
Great to see more options coming to market, looking forward to seeing your results.
|
just down the road, time would work. where would the car be stored when not right in the shop being working on?
track focused but needs to make it an hour or more to the track and be liveable |
The car will be kept inside at times when the shop is closed or the car is being worked on.
The idea is to get another 75 - 100HP and keep temperatures and engine vitals in check. I want a kit that can work with the stock motor and do it efficiently and effectively. The motor should perform within the same constraints on the track as the NA motor would. That is the challenge. I think we can do it, and do it well. Thanks guys. John Quote:
