Even with all the welding nonsense left inside the tubes? I've seen inside the stock ones when I have my LTH's installed and they were anything but smooth inside...

The primaries on the OEM header are equal length, decent size, and the collectors is 2.2" diameter. If there are a few inperfections from welding, it will not make a difference at all in the performance.
