Question GTM Stage 2 TT: Engine Start Issues?

I see this happening every once in awhile. Sometimes the car takes longer to crank, and it sputters for a little bit before fully starting. Perhaps I released the clutch pedal too soon after pressing the button?

Is this something new you just start experiencing or it has been happening sense day one of the TT install, Any changes made to the car recently ?

ive had the same issues recently and it only happens when the car is really hot at the track and I turn it off and on multiple times. Same exact desciption as you OP and doesn't happen all the time either.

It MAY be fuel related?? If you give it a little throttle it'll fire right up. No SES (CEL) and readings are all good on OBD2 (cipher) interested to see what comes out of this.

I'm not sure I do not have Tp's or HFC's. Maybe it's something with the temp of the 02 Sensors in the cats, or TP's in the case above,

Sam
The only new addition is the manual boost controller, but I've experience this sputtering at least twice the past few months. This past week it happened 2-3 times. When it happens it cranks, the engine barely turns and dies for a brief second, sputters up like an old muscle car, and then idles like normal with no hiccup. The starter doesn't struggle or run continuously, so it sounds normal. Basically it's a rough start.

I tried to reproduce it tonight since it's pretty warm today, but it was fine. Car just starts up and idles around 700 RPM. Since the turbo install I don't notice the car briefly revving up on a cold start.

This is what I've been noticing. When the engine starts, the idle drops close to 0 RPM mark (sometimes almost dies), and then it crawls back up to normal idle speed. So there are times it'll hang close to the 0 RPM mark too long and "dies" for a half a second.

It's getting worse. This is the first time the engine died trying to startup. It starts up on the second try, but it's rough. Then I shut it off and start it, and it's fine. I guess I have to let it sit for awhile. It happened twice today.

So this is the hot start issue some owners have described? If it's a new tune, I'd need to upgrade to the tuner license and get it tuned somewhere. Not so high on the priority list at the moment.

It idles and runs fine, though. Quiet and smooth (for the most part haha).
