Well, you meet Chad when you came up to KC and he's gonna solve my hot start issues. Even though I don't have the GTM system, I'm sure it's all caused by the same issues.

The engine start problem is coming back. This time it doesn't feel rough at all. I start it up 3 times. It starts as usual, gets to idle range, and then drops down to 0 RPM and dies as if I manually shut off the engine. I wait a bit and then try to give it some gas as it revs up and it's able to fire up and not die.

It doesn't happen all the time. I'll drive somewhere, park for a bit, then come back and it starts up fine.

I've not seen the car idle rough, and it drives fine. Would a vacuum leak cause this issue?

Have you checked for leaks?

A vacuum leak wouldn't cause it to only happen at start up though. It would cause the idle to run higher than normal and most likely throw a code.

Phuong,

I just went back and checked and I don't think I ever received any logs back on your car after the install. If nothing has changed on the car and you are still running on our tune, I'm pretty confident I can get it resolved for you. Just go ahead and e-mail me your ROM ID and I'll track back your tune.

Sam

I'll try to get a hold of a laptop and pull the ID in a few days. The car hasn't died on me from running errands all day other than his morning. I've never seen it throw a code or idle rough either. Everyone comments how smooth the car is to drive.

Is there anything else you want me to log besides getting the ROM ID?

Right now I have the boost set close to 9 PSI, and I plan to get your 3" down pipe, external wastegates, and recirculation kit along with Fast Intentions 3" TDX exhaust in a few months. That pretty much finalizes the setup.

[EDIT] I got a hold of a laptop and installed the software, and I also found the installation manual. I'll follow the steps and send you the data this weekend.

[EDIT] I sent you the ECU part number and data logs.

Here's the dyno plot from March:
