If all you undercar panels and the fake vents are on the car and still getting water in the system then you must not be paying attention to how deep the water you are driving in. Note the filter location/height in the pic I'm posting, the don't sit low enough to cause what you are experiencing, Unless you driving the car in some real extreme weather.
