Also can some one fill me in on how our car "rides" the knock sensor?

Not sure about the knock sensor question but I know that 11.5 is a nice safe AFR at wot. That's right where I am.

Not sure. My hard drive on my laptop died recently and I lost everything. My data logs from last year were in there.

Right around 11:1 is perfect, i'd be cautious of anything over 11.7 but that should be alright

Sam told me he wasn't worried about 12:1,being @ 11:1 is going to be a little rich.

Generally speaking, 11.3-11.8 is what most run with boost. apparently the widebands in the Z read 1 point richer in cipher so if you are looking at those you might see 10's.

As for the "riding" the knock sensor, are you asking how the ecu uses it in regards to timing? Our ecu will use a few sensors to determine if it can advance/retard timing, knock is one of them. If the ecu detects knock it will retard timing, but when you are making 500whp it cannot respond fast enough to realistically prevent damage. When people tune the Z using uprev for boost, they will retard the timing tables a bit to prevent the ECU from getting as aggressive as it does from the factory which is too much for boost.

Essentially this limits how far the ecu can advance timing, but it will still advance/retard timing within those limits based on IAT, knock etc.

I've done some research and if your timing dips 4-5 degrees during wot acceleration you detonated, I haven't seen my timing do this so I'm not worried just for ease of mind , thanks for your info
