AAM Short Tail

That would be a great option. It is the OEM rear muffler that concerns me, but this would work just perfect.

If we go that route, does the diameter of the stock mid-pipes (and short-tails) concern you?

The stock mid pipe is dual 2" exhaust, that makes for a total surface area of about 6.3" squared. That is about the same as having a 2.8" single pipe exhaust. Since it is a straight shot to the back, I would say that it is fine for the power a stock block can handle.

Of course a dual 2.5" would be better, but the OEM mid pipe with the muffler delete pipes should work fine.

I'm FI and running Exoticspeed exhaust, they make two options one for Turbo and one for NA. I stayed with the NA set up because I went SC and not Turbo. But they do make a turbo application along with HFC's or TP's, Check them out. VERY VERY good stuff. Sound is amazing, Every where I go people are asking me what system I have.
