Default MBC issues?

Hi Guys,

I thought I'd post this thread up for you FI members. Maybe you guys could give me some advice.

Here is a brief description of how I installed the MBC. The passenger side thier is a hose coming oiut of the turbo outlet pipe, I cut and put a T in between and ran the hose up to the bottom of my MBC. Then I attached the another vacuum hose to the side port of my MBC and ran it down to the top ports (nipples) of the WG'S.

My problem is that I'm not getting any boost increase at all even if I dial it to the max. I'm having the biggest headache ever and hopefully someone could tell me if I did something wrong.

I also tried installing it another way. I connected the charge pipe hose to the MBC inlet and the hose from the WG's to the MBC outlet. Having my MBC set at 0 my boost just went up to 8psi 1/4 throttle. Could this be my MBC spring is not stiff enough?

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Check your PM. Make sure to use a little bit of soapy water to lube the barb connectors, and then tighten down carefully to get a good seal. Well, that's how I improved my luck lol.

I don't have an MBC, but.....

A. What brand?
B. Are you 100% sure your pressure inlet is in from the bottom out from the side? (Did you try switching them?)

Coop
