Then they should roll up their windows. Jk my gf hates the smell, but I think she's getting desensitized to it.

Then go E85 if you can. It doesn't really smell much and if anything maybe a bit like burnt rum....Mmmmm...yummy. Plus it's safer to breath.

I'm trying to stick to gas. If I schedule myself so that I work 5 days back to back, I can have 6-8 days off in a row. I do spontaneous traveling here and there due to the fact that I only have to work 3 days and week. This It's just safer to be able to drive anywhere and be able to buy gas. Even if I have to buy 91 vs 93.

^Same here in Florida. Not that many options and I can't have every driving adventure centered around e85 gas stations. Plus due to running big injectors and fuel pump that gas needle drops extra fast.
Would be nice to get it and see what kinda numbers I can make but it's just not practical for me. |

I factor fuel and its readily availability as part of the "reliability" factor. Car reliability = able to keep on the road with little to no work, stress or investment of any kind.

I guess were fotunate to be near the grain belt here at mile high. I drive by 3 stations that carry it just on my way too work. One holds steady at 2.89 a gallon. Yes she drinks like a hog but it is 100% worth it. Timing, safety, smell, power, and oh yeah that whole green house thing. Luv the corn!

I'd still use it with a smile if we had access to a flex fuel setup.

Yeah, and potatoes!
I'm sure the 3rd world countries would rather be hungry than under attack for their petrol resources anyway..lol.

If we really gave a rat's *** about doing ethanol right, we'd take a page from Brazil's playbook and use the leftover parts of sugar cane. But that would require lifting some of the protectionist bs that domestic sugar producers enjoy. Using corn for fuel is just an end around to reward lobbyists and corporations for campaign donations. And since I'm a huge hypocrite, I'd happily use it if there were stations around me.

Sasha,
Why doesn't my turbo look like the one in the manual when being clocked? Is this positioning on mine correct? Is this the difference between journal bearing and ball?
