Default Track usage

Just wanted to say that yesterday was my first track day with the turbo kit installed and everything worked flawlessly. I did put heat wrap on the piping underneath the transmission just for good measure. The car is a beast and by the end of the day I was getting used to it and nobody in my run group was able to pass me. It took a while to learn to modulate the throttle appropriately out of the turns since the boost comes on so quick. Once I got that figured out it is very driveable and quick quick quick!

Hey ENT-Z, Thanks for the info. What was the hottest car in your group besides your Z? (that didn't pass you) ...hehe

What is your suspension setup? Are you lowered? How about wheel and tire info? Thanks

So, are you saying my "throttle mash technique" isn't recommended when exiting corners now?

The only 2 worthy competitors in my run group were a new Boss 302 (very fast track car) and a modified 300z TT putting down 450whp according to the owner. The Boss was faster than me in the morning but I was quicker by the end of the day, though not by much. I never had much respect for Mustangs, but that Boss did change my mind.

For what it's worth I'm using an HKS EVC-S and it seems to do the job okay and for significantly less money than the more featured EVC.
