It will always be cheaper than a TT kit when you factor in the installation cost.

On top of that all the extras do add up...larger than standard fuel pump and fuel injectors, as well as a complete oil cooler kit and oil pan spacer. That is a good chunk of change.

This kit includes so much for the price. Your not just buying a turbo kit, your buying alot of the supporting mods too! A huge factor when comparing pricing!

Better then any price, is the smile this kit puts on your face

NO...you want it as sharp as a needle actually. If it is balled/round on the end you have no control, and the arc will wonder on you. That is a no no.

I prefer arc control on either metal, and therefore prefer a sharper electrode. With aluminum, if you are rounding the point on purpose, it is because your AC balance is high, and the sharp electrode will get melted anyway...so why sharpen it to begin with.

Aluminum with a sharp 3/32" electrode:

Seems to work rather well, doesn't it?
wheee!, rhd and m3chhawk like this.

Nonono Sasha with 2% your right, I went to the shop and yea 2% is ceriated and you want that sharp. We are arguing the same point here lol, if you were welding with pure tungsten you want it balled. With pure tungsten it cleans better and used for thicker material. Your welds look good.
