I would definitely not buy a turbo kit on a credit card...

Look to spend about another 2-3k (with cutting no corners) on the car after the turbo for things like gauges and clutches.

All I got left on my list is Tires, everything else is sitting on the shelf waiting for me to find the time to install it. I will probably pull the tires off and take it to a shop so they dont have to drive the car, lol.

i dont see using a credit card as problem if your responsible
i dont do cash at all i have very low interest credit cards i put my kit on my credit card and paid my credit card off in 2months with points now with that said never ever buy anything with your credit card that you cant pay off in a month or 2

Take the cc and pay off the Z IMO unless you have 0% financing. Sasha will be around for a while.

not sure i would use a credit card to pay off a car note lol
i mean if your getting a good rate on your car loan why put it on the card a maxed out or close to max out card never helps your credit

I think it was more of the point that you have 0 interest on the card as opposed to the interest your paying on your loan. In terms of saving money it makes sense, it also will help your credit rating significantly once its paid off.

If he has 14k on a car loan or 14k on a credit card, its a liabilty regardless and should not make that much difference on your credit score. As long as he's making higher than minimum payment on the credit card which he should be able to afford when getting rid of a car payment, it will actually help improve his credit rating. The main point of doing it this way is he could save hundreds maybe even thousands of dollars depending on interest rate on the car

this is why I can't get my homework done for college.. twin scroll oil cooled downpipe torque conversion whp maddness... you guys are making me hungry. Hungry for some WHP!!!
I really like what I am reading and I agree that the exhaust would be no problem. I have the greddy TI-C and I am not getting rid of it for anything. So being a turbo noob I am wondering do you need special test pipes or just regular old test pipes? I really like the single turbo bolt on solution. The thing I didn't see here is any type of intercooler (maybe in the begining of the post, I started at 80+). I am guessing no. But it could still be added right? And it should help performance/power/boost... even if it is a smaller one like the RB intercoolers in the corners of the bumper. I did an RB build single turbo (think it was a T26) and I dont remember getting any crazy pipes for the exhaust. I do remember cranking it up the first time and seeing train smoke come out of the exhaust (F'd heads). Just trying to get spun up on all this turbo stuff. Thank you and good night!
