Boosted Performance single turbo build

^No website as of yet, reference previous pages for price discussions, however no solid pricing has been provided, only estimates.

If you stay out of boost, there should be very minimal difference, however it all depends on the tune, the tuner gets control the amount of fuel being put into a cyl at a given set of conditions.

In theory if driving style stays constant your mileage should go up because your engine more efficiently makes power.

I am not properly tuned yet, but cruising on the highway I saw a huge jump in economy

Thats just means your mpg gauge is not longer accurate due to the larger injectors. Turbos will not improve mpg.

My MPG gauge shows an average of 36mpg now after my TT install haha. I wish that were the case!

However, when I stay out of boost (as much as I can control myself), I average about 22mpg mixed (about 80/20, highway/city) which is about what I got stock. Fuel economy with turbos is all about how you drive!

Once I get a taste of boost I will not be able to stay out of it. lol. Guess I better get some stocks in oil.

Once these kits are ready to be sold to the public, what's the estimated turn-around time from order date to delivery? I'm assuming they will be made to order?

I'm definitely interested as long as I don't have to wait 2 years to get it.

When you change injector size the OEM fuel consumption readout is no longer accurate. The only way to truly measuer consumption is the old fahion way.

Out of the 30+ turbo kits I have built for the 350z, the longest my customer has ever waited was 3 months after placing the deposit.

Usually it is much less than that.

I plan on stocking up this fall/winter and hope to have a lot of kits ready to go. I also follow an extensive packing list so there is never any parts missing.
If for whatever reason something is missing, it goes out to the customer using 3 day UPS service. I have not had to do this yet.

Also, it has been confirmed that the shop install estimate for this kit is from $1000-$1200 if one chooses to have a shop install this. This is a savings of about $1300-$1500 over a TT kit. These margins also apply when it comes to any kind of repair/service/maintenance work.

I have not, and IMO it is not needed especially on a stock block.

Just an FYI on the kit, we had to cut down an align key but you CAN do the transmission flush with the turbo on. No need to remove anything

This is where the big savings come in when comparing this to twin turbo kits.
Even if you take this kit to a shop, i can't see it being over 10 hours to install, so about $1000. It goes together like Lego, because there is nothing to drill, tap, cut, bend or modify on the car itself.

Like with the mid mount kit, each pipe end is labeled telling the installed where it goes. Same thing goes for the oil lines, each will have a label at each end telling the installed where it is to go. The scavenge pump will come already mounted on the plate, with fittings installed. Same goes for the oil filter relocation. So, one could say that some of the kit comes somewhat pre-assembled.

I been lurking this thread. Not posting much or anything at all. I'm truly impressed with your explanations and attention to detail. You obviiously take alllooooot of pride in your product. I was fixated on a twin turbo build but... I'm considering this now....

Quick question though. I have an auto and plan on doing the transmission reinforcement kit to make my car able to withstand the added pressures of a turbo. Would this kit in some way be hard to mount to an automatic transmission optioned car??
