Better off buying the full kit if you don't have tuning software. Going to cost you an arm and a leg to get custom tuning done. Sasha is shipping out the map you need and the tuner version to boot. Not only that, but you get the upgraded fuel system. Purchasing the software/ getting the tuning done, and the fuel system is going to run twice as much as what he's including it for. I Spent $600 on my Uprev tuner cable and $400 on 3.5 hours of tuning.... NA, you will get owned when tuning a turbo car.

Better to jus stick with Sasha tune.. It'll be on the safe conservative side I'm assuming and since there's no tuner where you're at, there's less risk goin with his tune. Better to play it safe in ur situation.

Haltech was supposed to have the 370z unit ready for SEMA...so maybe it won't take much longer to release. It really is a great system....I have it on my 350z, and it is the best thing I purchased for it.

I'm guessing VVEL is what's holding back Haltech?

As useful as this VVEL is in our engines it has been one hell of a bottle neck.

Bit of an update...

I am a bit behind, or at least not as far ahead as I had planned. I had a surgical procedure done about 5 weeks ago, and it should have taken only two to fully recover. It has taken twice as long for some reason, and there was a setback. I have had limited physical mobility the last couple of weeks, but things are starting to improve. Even the doctor was worried, and has been calling me once a day to see how I am doing…that doesn’t happen often.

Anyway, like I said there is improvement over the last few days, and if it continues to improve at this pace, I should be 100% by mid next week. Most of the exhaust side of things has been fabricated, and there are still a few pieces that need to be welded up solid (tacked right now). Once that is done the IC pipes are next, and those are simple, straight forward and will not take long to build.

My goal is still to have all the kits out to you guys by the end of December.

So after going back and forth between Sasha's kit and GTM's Twin SC, I'm gonna go with BP. Email traffic to GTM did not work in my favor and was unable to get details I needed from them. I got a couple replies from them, then just went silent. It's not completely their fault as my schedule is a 180 from theirs and by the time I can call, it's well past operating hours. On the other hand Sasha has been able to answer my inquiries promptly, and the savings going with his kit is substantial. At least $4500 in cost/install difference alone. Reselling parts will only increase the difference. I wish I can order now, but I just bankrolled $4300 to fly back to the states and see a dying family member. Even sending money next year, everything will sit in my garage for months. But knowing it's there waiting for me is better than hoping that I can get it when I return.

Edit: Just read your post, hope things heal up for you soon. Recovery sucks. You ever sell that last kit?

Good choice. The last kit is still up in the air in a way. Sort of spoken for at the moment, but not 100%. Thre are a couple of people ahead of you as well, in case this deal does not go through.

We appreciate the update Sasha. Sorry to hear about the longer than expected recovery from the surgery, but good to hear it's improving fast.

From your description of the doctor's attention, it seems like the health care system in Canada works after all

The end of December sounds perfect, if not no biggie (at least for me). I hope you take it easy and have a speedy recovery!

Thanks for understanding Hugh...and yes the healthcare system up here is good and works well for everybody. As for me, I am about 60% there, and it is still frustrating...but getting better. That is the most important thing. I should get a decent amount of work done over the next couple of days as well.

Just take it easy and don't push yourself! I can wait if it takes longer. Just so it can be installed by spring
