Reading through the posts here, there seems to be a good market for a 7AT kit. Did the local loaner car ever come through?

I have not got in touch with him to be honest. Making 7 turbo kits at the moment is a lot of work, and I just can't take on any more stuff at this time.

I also don't like to take on too much, because it can get a bit too much to handle, and mistakes can be made. So I will take it one batch of kits at a time. Once the demand slows down (and I don't know how long that will take) I plan on visiting the 7AT platform to see what can be done.

It looks like there is a few guys out there that are looking at purchasing some time in April/May next year. This means that as soon as the orders that I am working on now are done, I can start on a nother set.

If there are people out there that are looking to purchase this kit in the spring, please PM me. This will give me a good idea on the demand, and I can work from there.

I am just finishing the first kit off of the jigs. On Friday, there is a local customer coming in for a complete install and this will give me a chance to verify fitment with the pipes coming off the jigs. Once that is all confirmed, I will work hard to get the kits out to those (5) that have sent deposits.

Some of the stuff is being put together for you guys (cell phone pics, so not that great).

The oil relocation kit will have all the fitting already installed, so you just have to get it in place, and run the hoses (hoses will have a lable on each end indicating where it goes).

Oil cooler will come mounted on the bracket, so just two bolt for the installed, and it is done. Just run those hoses again..

New filter plate will be mounted to the bracket already, two bolt (OEM) and it is done:

A few things together...still things missing from there, but you get the idea:

This is all in preperation for the install on Friday. A lot of pictures from that install will go towards the installation manual. This way all the components will be as you guys would reveive them.

The BOV's are very quiet, and can't really be heard. This is the sleeper kit. Got the PM, will get back to you on that.

:yum:

I'm thinking of adding the kit to the Z and running it at the track every once in a while. 500+ HP is a good number and along with some weight reduction parts I should be able to put up some good numbers.

Sasha I know you stated earlier in the thread that the Tial bov's are what come with the kit. But is there a way to get a louder bov on? Extra cost would be a factor of course.

The kits will come with one BOV, and it will be on the driver side, just before the FMIC inlet. With it there, it will be more noticable (louder) than being in the engine bay.

I can do a custom BOV setup if one chooses to do so.

HKS SSQV's are loud.

Would there be any negative affect running a single BOV instead of dual?

Not at all. The air is being vented before the FMIC. The reason there was two BOV's in the prototype is due to them venting after the FMIC, where the charge air was split in to two.

99% of cars out there only use a single BOV to begin with. The 350z twin scroll kit uses one, as does the mid mount kit that I make for the 350z.

The Tial BOV's are also the largest you can get at 50mm with large vent ports..so there is a lot of room/area for the charge air to escape while the TB closes during shifts.
