Thats what I am trying to get at people that have one already, and would need a full kit minus the oil cooler. The 350's at least had a factory oil cooler it was air to water one though better than nothing. They didn't run as hot as the 370's because of this

TT power at a fraction of the cost and easy install? can't wait to see reviews when it is completed and installed by some members. TT is way too pricey for me, this may be interesting.

The oil cooler is made to work with the oil filter relocation kit which will be standard with the turbo kit. If you already have an oil cooler kit, you would have to find a way to make it work with the oil relocation kit. It is all made to work together.
A tuner kit will also be available, for those that do not wish to have the fuel pump, injectors, and Uprev as a part of the kit. Pricing is still TBD. |

I have stillen gen 3's, can you fab up your kit to work with those? The pipes look almost identical!
In all seriousness, if a $500 oil cooler is going to hold you back then FI is probably a venture you should not take. If its one thing I have learned from this build is that you always need something else to support, whether its new tires, clutch, sensors ect... Quote:
OR.. You can sell the oil cooler, take the $100 loss and enjoy some boost

Sasha, would you suggest the new 3" exhaust from FI over the one the donor car already had installed?

I can supply the hose, and fittings. All one would have to do is cut it to size, and and push it on to the fitting. Fittings look like this without the hose: Still have the -AN ends, so it will work with all oil coolers. I would just have to know what size the -AN inlet is on the cooler. Pretty simple. Keeping it simple! |

well the '12's use the same filter as the ones without the cooler. The plate is only about 1-1 1/2" thick so it just pushes the filter back a bit. Thats about it though. If thats the case, the relocation kit hose just needs to be 2-3" longer at max to be safe that it reaches and everyone can just trim to fit but good to know!

Don't know, the car is not tuned yet, so it can't be driven hard enough to get the oil temperatures too high. Last edited by Boosted Performance; 05-22-2012 at 08:27 PM. |

nice to see someone developing a kit that is user friendly and tries to create work arounds for people who have different mods to keep price down
