does the location of the turbo make the exhaust any louder/quieter?

This is not a V8 mustang with a roots blower (positive displacement supercharger) where it makes 400ft/tq at 1200rpm, with a 4800rpm red line.

The turbo will make your current exhaust quieter, as the turbine does act like a muffler. However, when WOT it may be louder due to the extra flow.

As far as all the other stuff...waste gate: either re-circulated or open to atmosphere...there is nothing else to it. Electric cut-outs are made for post turbo applications where the exhaust may be small/restrictive to exhaust flow. IMO not needed at all for the power a stock block can produce safely, with a dual 2.5" exhaust.

Didn't say anything about using one, I just linked what I figured Dzel was talking about. Only car I've seen use them was my friends twin turbo Ford GT....

If you want to be like Ronita, get Re-circs. That is all. His car is a daily driver so he opted for re-circulation, although I don't know why....he never gets on it!!

The smarter you try to sound the dumber you look! LOL Did you do your research all night? Seeing this is boosted build page I won't take this conversation any further. Bottom line, your a Wikapedia know it all, go get your hands dirty and learn something. Or better yet, keep asking dumb questions about boosted builds which he's been doing for years..... LOL @ GTFO

The car is now ready to go, just need the base map for the 750cc injectors (should be in today).

This is what things look like before the car is back on the ground;

Turbo with filter before install:

Up there:

O2 Sensors are in:

I use an oil reservoir on the turbo drain, this is a stainless 1" square tube sleeved so it can never leak. This allows the oil inside the turbo to drain, so it does not leak past the seals while the car is off, in turn, it will never smoke.

These are the only things that did not go back on the car, aside from the crash bar:

Does the picture of the O2 sensors installed show both upstream O2s in the same side pipe or is one an upstream factory O2 and the other an aftermarket wideband?

These are post cat sensors from both banks. Since these are narrow band, and only there for emission, it does not matter that they are on the same bank.
