Got home from work (day job), and went straight to the shop to see how the FMIC bracket will fit...I like it:
The top of the bracket will have to be cust down about one inch, but that is quick and easy. Looks like the charge piping to the TB's will work out great as well. HELLO: The charge pipe will come from the outside, just above the front left lower control arm, middle of the pic, where light is visible: Turbo to IC piping will be 2.5". FOR THOSE OF YOU WITH STILLEN CAI's check your lines on the driver side: You can see how worn those are, and this could be a problem if left alone. trying to picture where the kit will bolt up to... so it's going to be replacing cats/test pipes and bolting straight up to the headers/manifold, then connecting to the stock y-pipe?

Good problem solver if you were worried about your cats failing and messing up the turbo

Yeah the only other thing I would worry about is the oil pump failing. Boosted is there gonna be option for gauges with the kit? I would want Boost, A/F ratio, and can you put a gauge on the outlet of the oil pump to make sure your feeding the turbo?

There will be no gauges with the kit. There is just too many options out there, and one set may not suite all customers....so it is best left for the customer to pick the best brand/type. |
