Yes, I agree. I would much rather have something that is "over built" and only use a portion of it potential knowing I have room for improvement without having to start all over. It one of the things that I really like about the direction you're going.

After installing the GTM TT kit on my back, I can safely say this is going to be a BREEZE to install comparatively. I love the GTM kit and enjoy having "twins", but this is a great option for DIY and I probably would have went this route if it was available a few months ago.

As everyone else has said, your up/down pipes are beautiful, really amazing work.

This kit will have the potential to make big whp/wtq on a built motor, no doubt!! The fact that you can put almost any size turbo you want in that area is a plus.

this is looking very good!

I'm excited to see the final results and may consider this if I ever decide to go FI.

we developed the first twin scroll kit that we never pushed. came out pretty good. car made 706whp at 22 psi on meth on a 4088 journal bearing. your kits perform great also. really want to see how the twin scroll comes out on your new kit!

Jtran Sudios right? I remember that build, it worked out great with some solid fabrication to back it up. What were the specs on the back side of that turbo?

With that setup, the runner length is different feeding the turbo. I am really trying hard to keep it all equal length, so that "should" help a bit. I think the rear transmission support had to be taken off for the crossover pipe to slide over. A bit more of an involved install, but same idea.

From reading many back to back comparisons the PTE6766 should outperform the 4088 all day long, so untill somebody builds the block we won't really know how far this will go. I think deep 700's are a reasonable guess, with proper supporting mods of course.

EDIT:

I should mention that the main reason for going with the twin scroll is that it offers much larger turbine housing options...all the way up to a 1.32 a/r. The open T4 only goes up to a .96 a/r, although I think that is a "big enough" turbine to support a decent amount of power.

Thanks for the info. and yes that particular weld is a bit under-cut. I have to get some .030 filler rod (or smaller) for those. I have .045 but it is a bit much I find. All welds are back purged with straight argon, and look great on the inside. Solid penetration, at about 75A.

This would be a better representation of what the welds look like:

looking good man! definitely way better then before man! schedule 10 pipe? 75a is good! what welder are you using? gotta try out helium when you have the chance!!! .045 is the rod of choice here on aluminum or stainless!
