i assume your talking about this competitor, now i could be reading the graph wrong but it appears that gtm makes more boost at lower rpm. unless im confused on the term of "outspooling" ?? not meaning to start anything here i love your kit and would rock one if i wasnt so slammed!!!! much love

This is the graph you want to look at since it is using a boost controler:
That was also a $60 manual boost controller, and not a more common electronic controller, with a lot more capability/features.

First time I have seen that graph, that boost line sure is straight....
Anyways when you compare the 3900 to the 4000 the two kits are virtually the same. As I had meantioned previously, I was not using any gain with an ebc either Sent from my SGH-T889V using Tapatalk 2

Np Sasha, even I forget which graphs are which lol. For those who do not know, when we dynoed the car we did it first with no boost controller, then with a manual, then with and ebc (AEM) that was crap btw. It did nothing to stablize boost.
I have since switched to an hks evc6. I will get it dynoed again in the summer, and the drop in boost and the spool should both be adjusted. Maybe someone else with Sasha's kit will beat me to it. Sent from my SGH-T889V using Tapatalk 2

Sasha can you include the manual BC with purchase of your kit. What are the benefits of running an electric one instead of a manual

If you wish to bicker about this, please feel free to PM me and let's keep this on topic please. I can if you wish. Thre is much better control with an EBC, especially when you get to the upper RPM's. It is much more versatile, and provides better boost control.

The HKS ebc is almost $800! Wow and it looks very complicated to install.

The graph shows 12# of boost is that a good idea on a stock block or does that engine have internals?
