I may have missed this info in reviewing this very long thread but do you have any notion of how this kit effects the less than optimal 53/47 weight distribution of our car?

As with any forced induction kit, those two numbers will grow apart. With this kit the turbo does sit on the lower half of the chassis. So, further back than the TT kits and even more so than the top mount ST kits as and superchargers. The centre of gravity does not go upwards.

I was pretty excited when I noticed that as well.

Hmmm I had no idea to be honest. Link?

Edit:

Found it. Good to know. Don was the very first customer to purchase a Boosted Performance turbo kit. It is the kit that got the ball rolling so to speak. I know that he really beats on his car and participates in many track comperitons. The kit has been going strong for almost four years now with all that abuse.

I just googled "project 370z" and a facebook page came up with the three finalists. There is a picture of this kit in the very first post of this thread.

Going to pick mine up this weekend!!! :happydance:

459 whp and 431 wtq at 9 psi. I was hoping for higher HP but am amazed at that torque number. I think there is room for more tuning but this is a great starting point!!

blackonorange 03-08-2013 10:13 PM

Why doesn't the hp keep climbing?

Boosted Performance 03-09-2013 12:37 AM

Congrats Rob....and there is a lot left on the table. Even as is, I am sure you will enjoy the new power.

There seems to be an issue with the MAF sensors. The tune was kept conservative till that issue is resolved. This is also why it was never pushed all the way to 7,500rpm
