Default Need Help. Cobb isn't installing anymore.

Yes I am aware Cobb doesn't support the Z34 anymore.

Here is my problem.
I had my first CEL come on; not bad for 3 years. Anyway, it was for a cold start sensor. There was a TSB to update the ECU to fix this issue. So I Uninstalled the AP, updated the ECU for the cold start problem, reset the ECU, and now I can't get the AP to reinstall on the ECU. It says the car is not supported. WTF! SO I call Cobb, and say they don't support the car, or have any ideas for help. So I shitt out of luck, thanks COBB. I am not sure if I can uninstall the TSB update I did; but I will talk with my Tech here in a bit. But does anyone have any ideas , beside having to ship this car to a tuner and get UpRev put on and a new tune?

( just venting) **** me right before Zdayz. And I haven't had a single issue with this car!

Shariff, Sam, anyone have some ideas? I am sure UpRev is the direction to go, but I am trying to figure out if I can keep what I use to have.

Thanks for listening
~Lou

Call and talk to Christian , I dealt a lot with him on my speed6 , probably one of the most knowledgeable guys there imo .
Or email him christian.krahenbuhl@cobbtuning.com

I think whenever you update your ecu the ecu part number changes. Wonder would that have anything to do with it not reading anymore.

I think that's exactly what happened. It was just a download to fix the senor but it must have reflashed the ecu ,because now the AP can't communicate with it at all. Sucks, because you can't un-install a nissan download. So my temporary fix is getting a new 09 ECU shipped in and installed. And hope it doesn't have the new cold start firmware on it. May have to bite the bullet and go UpRev after I get this all sorted out. Seems like this will be a nightmare down the road. Might have to talk the wife into an early arrival to Z1 or Forge before Zdayz.

Sorry for being off topic but I wonder what's up with COBB? They did this same thing with the EVO VIII & EVO IX. This has made me avoid them at all costs with my other vehicles.
