Not saying I agree with it, just throwing it out there. It is marketing after all. I mean what about TV commercials that say this pill makes you skinny, this body spray will make women throw themselves at you everywhere you go, etc.
Another trick is to run the base line in a fully heat soaked car, with deflated tires, then run the after dyno on a bone cold car that had the intake iced down and over inflated tires with looser dyno straps. Lots of way to manipulate dyno numbers. The best thing is to do three runs and show the average. |

The 450whp should be no problem on 91 octane. I would push the boost up to 8 or 9psi. That will help you see those numbers. With a crappy tuner like I had that had no clue on how to tune a car they were able to get 403whp at 5psi and 440whp on 8psi. I should get some new number when I get back in town. New tuner (experienced) and a dyno that doesn't look like Fred Flinstone had once used.

K guys on the lower side right now it's at 390 whp and 310 wtq but it's still real rich but the cable keeps bugging out uprev is probably gonna send a new cable we are still real rich above 6 grand and the timing hasn't been adjusted either so there's still more power to be made. Also what are other turbo guys seeing for wot afr?

That's still on low boost for kit though right? Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the lowest 5.5psi?

You can get any spring you want but these numbers are pretty much the base tune STs gives us the uprev cable isn't cooperating and disconnects during runs for some reason

Ok, so about a 110 RWHP gain for 6-7 psi with a turbo. Not terrible, but not fantastic either.
How's the timing look? What is the AFR? The timing will affect the power output MUCH greater than an AFR change, just be careful with the timing. With that single mount rear turbo kit at 7psi, I'd think 440-450RWHP would be a nice upgrade. |

Also if you only bought the basic can tune I don't know what kinda of HP you should be seeing. Always tomorrow and Marc is only a phone call away. On top of that your number are better than what I started with...338hp when we started. So no worries, it does get better. |
