A fun project, and you should do some searching on how to do it right if you really want, but honestly not worth the effort unless this a track only car, and every little bit of power is critical.

"Ram air" is typically a misnomer in the automotive context. To truly get compression of air above ambient into the cylinders (i.e. ram it in), you have to be going VERY fast and have to use an appropriate shape of the intake duct. It's not as simple as having a windward facing intake. Typically, the gains from such "ram air" type setups for an automobile is just the access to cooler less restricted air.

BTW, ducting to force cool air to the intake makes more sense with a carburetor as they were mounted to the top of the engine, and not remotely the way it is set up on modern fuel injected cars.
