Stage 1 to Stage 1.5

Some of you are aware that I have a GTM stage 1 kit coming and well I talked to Sam and we hammered out some details and now I'm getting the new stage 1.5 which in my case put down 450whp-475whp.

It should ship late this week or early next week so this should be a hell of a ride.

Just thought I share this with you guys.:hello:

Are there any details anywhere else on what stage 1.5 SC is? Congrats!

As far as a upgrade only you would have to call GTM for that.

stage 1 is about 16hrs labor and stage 1.5 is exactly the same as stage 2 just has a stage 1 supercharger so it is 20hrs same as stage 2.

Haha :icon18:, I hope it doesn't take that long to install!

We are planning on charging 8 hours of labor to perform this upgrade. This is a reasonable price considering what all is involved in doing the work. A capable/experienced tech can do it in about a day's work. This includes the following:

1) Swap the compressor housing and intake (the supercharger itself does not need to be removed for this)
2) Install the motor mount
3) upgrade the injectors
4) fuel pump voltage stabilizer installation

Obviously, there will be techs that want/need more time to do all that, but this is how much we charge to do it in house.

8 Hours isn't bad charging for that type of labor. I could see a mechanic not too familiar with this kit needing 11+ hours for the upgrade.
