looking for good tuner in northern virginia area

09 z with stillen supercharger. Want to get custom tune. Can someone recommend anyone in northern va. Area? I am located in Winchester VA so close to hagerstown md and Frederick md. Thank-you in advance!

Also, running automatic. Should I upgrade to the higher psi pulley before I tune?

AAM Competition in Annapolis Junction, MD and Hills Garage in Baltimore are the two most reputable Z tuners in the area.

Should the car be left with the timer for a couple days or is this something one can drive up and wait on?

You'd have to give them a call, but my guess is if you scheduled something early enough in the day you could be in and out in a few hours. A good tuner will have the car on the dyno for a while simulating a number of different operating conditions, so it will usually take a bit of time.

If you are willing to take the drive got to R/T Tuning in Lansdale PA. Vince will take care of you he has tuned a hand full of Stillen kits.

Those all sound like good shops to choose from, my recommendation is gonna be a very long drive for you. If your currently untuned it would be smart to stay out of boost until you get uprev tuned.

I also recommend R/T tuning. I drove 8 hours from Ottawa Canada to get my car tuned there. All the guys there took care of me very well

I am glad you took my advise and went down there to get your car done. It's always a good feeling when your car comes out good.

Yep, everything turned out perfect.. I even spent the day at The king of Prussia mall....talk about shopping overload.
