I'd guess pricing is close to the cost of TT kits.

Probably more...well not probably most likely more.

Well if that is the case then the gains must exceed TT kits. Not necessarily meaning more power or torque but no lag and a flat torque line on par with TT torque would be awesome.

Wow guys. In for updates.

LafitteZ 03-05-2012 11:24 AM

Yea Its a big power no lag option for the vq. It will be much better on the drag strip for sure. PLUS THE COOL FACTOR!!!!! Will It be possible to get these things chromed? From the picture I looked at in the beginning it looked like the chargers will be up top.

Nothing about twin centrifugal SCs is going to change the fact that they still make power in a linear fashion and *probably* aren't going to be able to match the torque output of a twin turbo setup. Because in most centrifugal type applications, boost is limited by RPM rather than by an active system (e.g. wastegate), having two smaller chargers will not necessarily give you the benefit of being able to spin them up faster and then bypass the extra boost (like a turbo).

If you want turbo-like torque from a supercharger, you have to go with different designs like a roots-type, twin screw, etc. These make significant boost at low RPM, but lose efficiency towards the top. With our V-platform and the intakes runners on the inside of the V, I actually think that such a SC would work well, but my guess it that space constraints are the problem.

With all this said, I am very excited to see the kind of results this kit puts out. I haven't seen any twin SC setups before so I am very curious about the performance.

we'll see this does seem very promising as it would allow them to simplify the piping since they won't have to go around an engine mount, and should have an increased output throughout thanks to the new compressor options.

intersting thread.

Replica? How is a quad charged kit for a GT-R the same thing as a twin supercharger kit for a 370Z? Please, enlighten me.

Someone... is writing checks that their persona cannot possibly cash (or so it appears) This is probably not the place to air your whining about a company that we all basically love.

This twin kit looks absolutely awesome BTW
