The 9 pound pulley is 2.75. For some reason Stillen didn't drop down to the next pulley size. I measured it and compared it to the 2.87 vortech 6 rib.

Are you sure i bought a 2.95 for vortech and the boost didnt go up that much stillen would not tell me if the 9 pound pulley was 2.75

Stillen doesnt offer a pulley upgrade for the kit. At least what I been told, I went out and copied Mr.squeeze( With his help) On my Stock kit I'm seeing 9-10 PSI.

Where can we purchase the 9 lbs pulley from?
Would you recommend the 2.75 upgrade or the 2.95 upgrade for this kit?

you get the pulley upgrade from vortech, I have the part numbers from Mr.Squezze just oredered everything last week, but you might want to cover the ven hole first, See my broke down thread, I had water in the SC Fluid. :(

CB1 07-30-2012 03:37 PM

Damm! just read your thread. That's horrible!!! So sorry. I will look at mine when I get it and see if it's covered or plugged.
So what is the part number and the cost of the pulley that Squeeze gave you?

The small 9 pound pulley you can get from Stillen the make you sign a waver. You can also pick up a 8 rib one from Vortech as well.

I am about to order 2.80 Hi traction pulley from vortech and i have been getting some great knowledge from mr squezze i spoke to vortech and they said the hi traction 8 rib pulley grips better brecause its sand blasted. they say that if you dont have a hi traction pulley on the front 7 rib belts it wear it out 20% quicker so i plan on getting the pulley from vortech and sand blasting the fron 7 rib pulley to match the hi traction vortech pulley will let you know how i go
