I totally agree but for many of us 500-550whp is more than enough. I could see myself building the engine to go beyond that just so I could get on

I totally agree but for many of us 500-550whp is more than enough. I could see myself building the engine to go beyond that just so I could get on it more often and have it be reliable. IMO, granted a bit off topic, I would vote TT over SC. Sure the TT has the lag issue but the torque #'s for the TT blow away the SC. I'd rather have more torque with lag than less torque with a flat curve. With all these n54 BMW's going JB4 and other tuning paths which dramatically increase torque the sub 400tq that the SC kits put out just don't cut it.
