Off boost, lower CR pistons may feel a bit anemic by comparison, but if they are forged and lighter than OEM, they may make the engine feel more -- rather than less -- responsive, if with a bit less grunt.

Depends how much weight is saved and exactly how high in the rev range before any appreciable boost is built.

Here are some dyno graphs for car we just finished, it has the same low compression short block that Vinny will be running, This car has also our stage 1 cylinder head witch includes our upgrades valve springs and titanium retainers with a 5 angle valve job. This car was a rocket plane and simple.


The first graph is 12 PSI

Second graph is 14 PSI

Third graph is 15 PSI
