Does the car seem to slow down with the check engine light on? (Stillen Supercharger)

I'm not trying to troll, but I do have a GTM supercharger and I have been in temps over 100 degrees (car hates it of course) and all the way down to -20 without any problems other than a really cold car.
So what do I need to do in order to stop it from misfiring?
