Possible Nos build
I really want to go the Nos route and have looked into the zex kit, i already have an uprev tune, but im planning to only do a 75 shot and some say the tune isn't required. Other than the nitrous kit what are some possible essential that i may need or will the kit be enough.

May want to look into some colder plugs.. Other than that you will be good to go.

As for what else is needed, that depends on how concerned you are with consistency and reliability. If you want the most consistent setup, I'd add a bottle warmer. I'd add a fuel pressure gauge as well as n2o pressure gauge, to keep an eye on things. 1 step colder plugs as someone mentioned. A WOT switch would be nice to have, as well. It really depends on what exactly you're looking for. I'd take a look at the Nitrous Express kits as well. NOS, ZEX, and Nitrous Express all make great stuff.

I agree with all above. Ive built quite a few nitrous systems on various vehicles and definatly recommend guages, colder plugs, and run a wet system...as well as the WOT switch.
Zex makes really really good kits that are very easy to install, come with everything you need including the WOT system. As long as the system you install matches the fuel pressure to the nitrous activation, then you dont need a tune unless you are running 100+ shot. |

OP I am in NC as well have you gone the nitrous route yet? 75 shot you will be okay w/o a tune but getting a tune wouldn't hurt it as you know our engines can be tricky sometimes. I just purchased a Zex kit and will be installing Monday and taking it to Charlotte on Friday for a tune on a 100 shot. From what I have read from actual users our motors are N2O friendly and when done properly no real problems have occurred. One member has been running N2O for almost a year and has had no issues. Take your time doing research buying the proper safety equipment and having someone with the experience to do the install.
