Well, the question is how much of a difference will it really make on a street car without a built engine i.e. one that can't take advantage of big boost. The turbos appear to flow similarly at lower pressure ratios.

You know, I heard about these bad boys just the other day and am in contact with Garrett to get more info.
Nix: the key is whether or not they are also more efficient. Higher efficiency translates into more horsepower and horsepower is good. ![]() Again, we're looking into whether or not these can be used without redesigning the whole kit. I'll post back with updates as I get them. |

it would cost at least 3-4k to upgrade to those after all is said and done. Not worth it for 10% more power. If you drop the motor and change out the turbos, might as well go with a bigger turbo package.
