P0744: Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Intermittent It seems to be either low fluid or a bad solenoid. Anyone with any experience on this? |

The car shifts wierd from 3 to 4. No clunking noise or anything just revs up on its own before shifting from 3 to 4. Found this video of the same symptom on an Altima. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgX7AYkKias Notice in the video at :12. Thats what my 3-4 shift does. Started doing it recently. |

The shift from 3rd to 4th may be normal. Search for flare in the g37 forum.

we had this problem with 3 cars here in Germany - everytime it was the fluid level not being 100% accurate.
Check it and you will find that you miss a few ounces - in my car the tranny behaved very weird (revving up to rpm cut before shifting when in manual mode on the track). And I only missed like 6.7oz ! The 7AT seems to be very very fussy as is the whole car e.g. when it comes to brake fluid. I once missed like less than 0.5inch from the top mark at the reservoir and my trac and abs light came on. So be careful to always fill every fluid up to the max / optimum mark. Chris
