Ahhh, I see that now in the pic. I can imagine it is a real pain. I think I may be abandoning my original plan to swap the gauges, don't think I want to deal with it.

Nice parts list. I am curious about the GTM FUEL PUMP VOLTAGE STABILIZER KIT. When did that start coming in the turnkey kit.

Mine didn't come with that.

I recommended it and he supported the decision lol. I kept reading about unstable fuel pressure related to voltage drop outs so this should help...For all I know I might not even need it but I am trying to get all the basics covered and all precautions taken to avoid any issues.

Yep. I was also looking into something to control and prevent knock. I've been reading about the J&S Safeguard but I'm still not sure how it would react to our weird ECU and VVEL. According to Sam, its not a plug n' play solution like in other cars but he is working on a kit that will make it so.. Then again, according to other tuners and the creator of the J&S... it should work. It's about $550 and it's constantly monitoring for knock, once it detects some it pulls timing just on the cylinder that knocked...As an alternative I'm considering meth injection, not to gain power but too keep everything cool and knock free, at least for summer.

I believe HKS has a knock sensor but does modify the ECU or have any control it just monitors the car. Not sure I would want something tapping into the ECU, even though I do not want knock I do not want something modifying my tune.
