you are going to have a really tough time spinning the VQ fast enough to make close to 100hp/l at stock displacement, and even moreso with a stroker setup.
at 3.7L, you are spinning the pistons at something like 75 and a quarter feet per second. With the weight of the pistons and the balance issues, I don't think there is much more in that engine....and there is even less headroom when you are talking about a stroker kit. At 8k, you are spinning something like 85 fps. hopefully someone will undertake the project. I'd love to see the results, but it is not something I'd start on without some serious experience doing NA builds. |
