On the stock ECU you can only tune so much... Its under partial throttle and decel that we see detonation as a problem... That is were my motor blew... granted

On the stock ECU you can only tune so much... Its under partial throttle and decel that we see detonation as a problem... That is were my motor blew... granted the motor in my G has a long history of abuse before I got it. To answer Soji's question yes and no... You can never guarantee a motor 100%... my stock 370z blew its motor with only 10k on the odometer! (NO MODS)... So with that said build your block and you are playing it very safe
