0-62 is the standard 0-60 test. All the articles in magazines and shows on TV just say 0-60 because it sounds better than 0-62.
Found this on the interwebs, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/0_to_60_mph "The time it takes to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 km/h or 0 to 27 m/s) is a commonly used performance measure for automotive acceleration in the United States and the United Kingdom. In the rest of the world 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) is used. Present performance cars are capable of going from 0 to 60 mph in under 6 seconds, while exotic cars can do 0 to 60 mph in between 3 and 4 seconds, whereas motorcycles have been able to achieve these figures with sub-500cc engine for more than 20 years. The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is currently the fastest production street legal car to reach 60 mph from a stop, reaching the speed in 2.46 seconds."

Im guessing its partially to the high compression ratio?

Higher compression can help get response up but the main reason for the responsiveness to boost is the engine design such as the heads (port size\flow), cams, VVEL.

I'm surprised that your setup and GTM's setup are looking at a 40whp difference considering you guys also use a dyno jet? Is it because you guys didn't push more than 8.5psi? Did you guys not feel comfortable pushing it to 10psi? Considering that UpRev allows for multiple maps why not set one map as the safer daily use and one aggressive map pushing to 10psi? The user could switch whenever he wanted.
