Thank you everyone for your support and kind comments, We greatly appreciate it. The car is running only at 70 % capacity at point, just ran out of time and had to let the car go for Sema. We still have more work to do and alot more data to share after we get back . so stay tuned .

Sam

Any ETA on 7AT press Release?

mike's fconv pro get scrapped or is that gonna be an after sema thing too?

bullitt5897 10-12-2011 07:31 AM

The fvon has not been scrapped. We have alot of data acquisition already in the car to monitor every minut detail about the motor. We have set this car up to be daily drivable on a stock ecu so that I can pass state emissions. Sam has blown me out of the water with what he was able to do with the stock ecu!!!

It really means 1k for every 1/4 of horse power made. Thats how much was spent. Ha!

bullitt5897 10-12-2011 10:11 AM

Lol this dyno run was done at 24psi lol we are already past 28psi and 1000rwhp hahaha!

Ron 10-12-2011 10:14 AM

whateva! video or it didn't happen cry cry b1tch b1tch haha

Edit: what's the max psi you plan on running? for what compression was the engine built?

KaienZ34 10-12-2011 10:31 AM

Hopefully the GT-R intake adds a little bit also. I really like it but I don't want it just for looks. Hoping it gives a bit for NA and FI applications.

bullitt5897 10-12-2011 11:18 AM

Right now our biggest limitation is the exhaust! lol of all things the exhaust is too small @ Dual 3" back! LMAO!

We have several options on the table including cut outs for higher boost runs or larger exhaust... I am leaning towards electronic cutouts.

I believe the turbos are good for 40+ psi... Honestly I plan at running on spring pressure which puts us at or around 1036hp for daily uses. For Dyno runs that is yet to be determined...

Also from my understanding the new intake should help out a good bit and open up more power *fingers crossed*

Ron 10-12-2011 11:23 AM

what about engine compression on this build?

bullitt5897 10-12-2011 11:40 AM

That would be a question for Sam.

bullitt5897 10-12-2011 02:25 PM

That's the lowest I can go

phunk 10-12-2011 03:16 PM

I take it that this is the car using our first 370z twin fuel pump assembly? And I take it that its working lol

Great power, congrats.

Is this currently the most powerful 370z in the world? I would figure it is, and I bet it will be at least a year before someone goes for this much power.

He's got a very badass traction control unit.

bullitt5897 10-12-2011 05:29 PM

Phunk: yes it is! :D

About traction control ;) we have a race logic system that has worked on many GTM built cars. And as Sam told me the more power you add the more bada$$ it is! I am paraphrasing of course :)
