My turbo on the driver side keeps leaking oil and fluid. Is any of you having that same problem?

No... You will want to take it to a shop as soon as possible! get it looked at before you do any serious driving on it. Better safe than sorry it could be a loose line but no one will know until pics or a professional has a chance to look at it.

^ I agree. Very likely. I've had this happen before and it was a easy fix for my setup eing a single turbo. But on a TT setup where the turbo's are tuck in the engine bay could be more demanding to get to. Wish for the best.

These things happen when modding. Especially when FI. If a shop can fix it without removing the turbo I wouldn't worry so much. Keep us updated on actual issue.

I would be very careful and carry some extra oil with you. The turbo uses engine oil so you don't want to let it leak out and ruin your turbo and engine.

naaa man the cars been in the shop the last 2 weeks costing me a thousand dollars already. The clutch disk blew up and cracked the tranny bell houseing and put a hole in it and when that happened the clutch slave cylinder broke so i bought a new clutch 6 puck plate and slave then we figured out it was leaking oil and fluid and we have to figure out how we gonna fix the clutch bell. I wasnt home for a full week before all this man its been rediculous. keep in mind this car is never tracked and im having all this happen. Im hopeing i wont have anymore bull after this.

It's a 40th, it's manual... and he said he bough a 6 puck clutch and pressure plate **hint hint**
LafitteZ, sorry to hear man... The same thing happened to the tranny on my 300ZX. It was a defective pressure plate, it gave in and the throw out bearing got pushed passed the plate, when I release the clutch.. bang!! I got a hold of a bad tranny from anoher Z and replaced the bell housing. Good luck!! Last edited by Ron; 09-23-2011 at 09:50 AM. |
