"i could have got gtr over 370z if it was offered in manual" is the silliest excuse i ever heard in my entire life
I never knew that gtr cost same as 370z i never knew that gtr brake service cost same as 370z i never knew 370z MT is better than gtr AT what a lame excuse... GTR is a GTR you didnt buy it not because its "AT" but because it cant be afforded and even though you can, gtr service cost arm and leg.. im not saying that i can afford it, i cant even afford their brakes but i just hate when ppl come up with lame excuses |

Me too, in a heartbeat. It kills me that the GTR doesn't come in stick. That leaves only a 911 Turbo in that performance range, but it's too expensive new.

I'm a purist need the MT, besides while I can't say I have extensive time behind the wheel of a GTR I have to go with an overused phrase, the car is very fast but has no soul.

There will always be sports cars for us purists. Sure the Europeans might stop and the exotics might go for paddles in the chase of efficiency but the domestic market will always be there and Aston Martin continues to hold down the manual market for high end cars.
The guy in the paddles may be faster but the guy driving the stick shift will always having a more enjoyable driving experience and will be wearing a bigger smile.
